Five years ago I sowed the first seed for GardenGirl. Combining my love of gardening and my career as a busy designer, I developed a range of practical yet stylish gardening clothes for every woman who enjoys working in, or dreams of having, a lovely garden.
It all started with the dungarees, which cleverly mixed functionality and feminine design, quickly became loved by many. Building on their success, GardenGirl have built up a whole collection based on the same great features. My passion for gardening and design has become a growing family business, and we now have a whole team dedicated to developing GardenGirl products, sometimes even inspired by input from our dedicated customers, and we are proud to say that GardenGirl power has spread outside of our native Sweden.
Some of my favourite additions to the collection this year are the pretty and practical rose gloves, and the clever split garden skirt. Also new this year is the beautiful Toile pattern, as usual inspired by nature, and a perfect accompaniment to the already popular Roses and Country Stripe fabrics.
